The server times out.
Server is still down.
Times out for me too. I tried this first on Oct 31st when the "Lotus Technical Information and education team blog" blogged about this ({ Link })

@1-4 - Darn, they work for me. I wonder if it has something to do with the IBM firewall? I will contact the team right away to take a look.

Great. Links are OK now.
I would love to see some viewlets that show even more basic/common things. Say just using mail, working with threaded views, the new reply functionality, etc. Those viewlets are very good at showcasing the new Notes 8 client, but they do not show all the new features. I am aware of Ron Sebastians demos, but why not make several short ones? They can first be used to sell Notes 8 within the organisation (what user/CEO would not like the new user interface if they saw it, but they don't have 15-20 minutes to spare to watch a youtube video), then they can be used internally to train the users in the new version...
IBM, have 2 or 3 people them spend a few weeks making say 40-50 little viewlets on Notes 8, geared towards both selling Notes 8 and then training the users...
